US President Joe Biden is contributing to the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East by continuing to supply American weapons to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who ignores Washington's views.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the writer of "New York Times" publication Nicholas Kristof.

The author noted that the American leader did not even set serious restrictions on the use of American weapons by the Israeli army:

"Such impunity allowed Netanyahu to ignore Biden, and as a result, Biden contributed to war in the region, not peace. There is also a risk that the United States will be involved in this conflict.
