Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar is alive and has resumed contact with Qatari mediators.

Axar.az informs that the Israeli media reported on this with reference to its sources, including "Al-Arabiya" and "Daily Mail".

The Qatari diplomat told "Jerusalem Post" that the information about the direct contact with Yahya Sinwar is a lie, all negotiations were carried out through the high-ranking political figure of Hamas, Khalil al-Hayah.

It should be noted that yesterday the Qatari officials announced that they could not contact Yahya Sinvar. The claim about his death was spread on September 23.
