At the expected meeting in Ashgabat, the presidents of Russia and Iran - Volodymyr Putin and Massoud Pezeshkian - will discuss a wide range of topics, from bilateral relations to the situation in the Middle East.

Axar.az reports that Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov informed journalists about this and reminded that this will be the first meeting of the presidents.

"These are, first of all, bilateral Russian-Iranian relations," said Peskov.
