Many tasks have been set in the direction of expansion of cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan in all fields.

Axar.az reports that by the head of the Russian-Azerbaijani interparliamentary friendship group, State Duma deputy Dmitri Saveliev, while commenting on the meeting between Russian President Volodymyr Putin and his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev.

"These days, in the Kremlin, Volodymyr Putin once again noted the dynamic and positive development of relations between our countries and called all major joint projects, including the fields of infrastructure and energy, trade and investment, of mutual interest, promising, real and alive. In turn, Ilham Aliyev he emphasized that the implementation of each of the high-level decisions is under constant control, and concrete steps are being prepared for the implementation of all agreements. Those issues were the main topic of the meeting of our leaders in the framework of the recent meeting of the CIS Heads of State, as well as the development of cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan at all levels a high level of attention cannot be underestimated," Saveliev emphasized.
