Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan received the head of Iraqi Kurdistan Region Nachirvan Barzani in Ankara.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the press service of the President of Turkiye.

It was noted that Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan also participated in the reception closed to the press. In the meeting between the delegations, which lasted for about an hour, Barzani exchanged views on the strengthening of relations between Erdogan and Turkiye, Iraq and the Kurdistan Regional Government.

The parties brought up the latest events in the region and various issues of interest to both sides.

The meeting took place at the presidential residence.
