We ask Israel to stop the operation - Italy

We insist on the rapid search for a two-state political solution that guarantees the security of Israel and the Palestinian people.

Axar.az reports that Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto said this at the press conference held after the first meeting of the defense ministers of the G7 countries.

He noted that Israel is asked to complete the operation in Lebanon:

"At the same time, hostile actions by Hezbollah and Hamas must be stopped."
