Senator shouts at King Charles: You are not my King

King Charles encountered shouts of "you are not my King" from an independent senator shortly after delivering an address at Australia’s Parliament House on the second official day of his visit.

Axar.az reports that Lidia Thorpe, an Aboriginal Australian, interrupted the ceremony in Canberra, shouting for nearly a minute before security escorted her away.

As the King stepped away from the lectern to join Queen Camilla on stage, Thorpe moved forward from the back of the assembly, proclaiming allegations of genocide against "our people" and yelling: "This is not your land, you are not my King."
