Lukashenko announces presidential candidacy

The President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has announced that he will be a candidate in the presidential elections to be held on January 26, 2025.

Axar.az reports that this was said by Russian journalist Olga Skabayeva, who interviewed Alexander Lukashenko in Kazan.

Skabayeva noted that she asked Lukashenko whether he would be a candidate in the presidential elections held in January.

"Yes, Olya, I will go to the presidential election," said Lukashenko.
