We discussed the possibility of meeting between Mr. Putin and Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during a press conference with journalists,

"We talked about our expectations with Mr. Putin. We urged him to take steps to ensure that Bashar al-Assad responds to our call. Will Mr. Putin reach out to Assad to take this step? We leave it to time," Erdogan said.
