The victory of U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump in the elections could lead to an increased consolidation of Russian leader Putin in Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that this was reported by Bloomberg.

The publication notes that the U.S. elections represent a turning point for Ukraine:

"Kiev and European officials are concerned that Trump's victory could impose harsh conditions on Ukraine. Although President Zelensky has promised to continue the fight, the harsh reality is that his exhausted army is heavily dependent on U.S. assistance. If Trump, who has stated he wants to resolve the conflict before taking office, is elected and follows through on his threats to withdraw support, Ukraine's options will be severely limited."
