Armenia maintains border control amid Russian withdrawal

For now, we do not intend to raise the issue of the withdrawal of Russian border guards from the Armenia-Iran and Armenia-Turkiye borders.

Axar.az reports that Armen Abazyan, head of the National Security Service of Armenia (NSS), said this.

He said that there is no such decision at the moment.

"Armenian border guards are able to gradually protect state borders with Turkiye and Iran."
