Hezbollah has elected Naim Qasim as Secretary-General to replace Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, who was killed during an attack in Beirut in September.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the Jerusalem Post.

It was noted that Naim Qasim fled to Tehran in early October due to fears of Israeli strikes.

Qasim previously served as Nasrullah's deputy Secretary-General.
