Saudi Arabia has become a transformative force for progress in the world, stated the governor of the Public Investment Fund (PIF) on Monday as the eighth edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) commenced in Riyadh.

Axar.az reports that , citing Al Arabia, during the opening plenary of the FII, Al Rumayyan remarked, “People used to come to us and ask for money.” However, he added, “We are now seeing that shift from people wanting to take our money to people wanting to co-invest.”

Al Rumayyan also emphasized Riyadh's focus on artificial intelligence, stating that Saudi Arabia aims to become a global hub for the AI sector.
