U.S. expands sanctions on Russia

The US has expanded the list of sanctions against Russia.

Axar.az reports that this was reported by the US Ministry of Finance.

The following persons and institutions have been added to the sanctions list:

- Viktor Goremikin, head of the Main Military-Political Department of the Russian Armed Forces;

- Secretary of State - Deputy Minister of Defense, Chairman of the Defenders of the Fatherland Fund Anna Tsivileva;

- Alexander Fomin, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation;

- Russian Deputy Minister of Defense Andrey Buliga;

- Pavel Fradkov, Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation;

- Kirill Lipa, CEO of Transmashholding;

- Moscow Aviation Institute;

- Tire manufacturer "Cordiant" company;

- "Chip and Dip Company" company;

- "Zvezda" NPP;

- Two companies included in the structure of Rosatom;

- "Ulyanovsk Avtodom" LLC.

In total, 20 Russian citizens were subjected to restrictive measures of the United States. In addition, two Chinese nationals, four Turkish nationals, two Indian nationals, two Swiss nationals, one Greek national and one Chilean national were subject to US sanctions.
