Spain's natural disaster death toll rises to 158

The number of people who died as a result of the rains in Spain has reached 158 people.

Axar.az reports that155 people died in Valencia alone. The floods have caused serious damage to the road infrastructure in Valencia, with more than 60 roads closed as a result.

Large-scale rescue operations are underway. Forecasters warn that even heavier downpours are expected in some of the worst-hit areas.

It should be noted that the Spanish government announced three days of official mourning for the victims of the natural disaster.
