During a 12-minute phone call, Yoon and Trump discussed the strong security and economic partnership between their two nations, touching on a range of issues, according to a senior South Korean official.
In addition, South Korea's ambassador to the United States is scheduled to visit Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida to meet with members of the president-elect's team.
