I welcome the US permission to strike Ukraine deep into Russia with long-range ATACMS missiles.

Axar.az reports that German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said this.

"Some settlements in Ukraine are so close to the Russian border that the air defense system does not help because the missile hits very quickly. Now we are talking about being able to destroy military launch devices," he said.

He expressed confidence that Ukraine has the right to carry out such strikes in terms of international law and self-defense:

"Thanks to the permission of the United States, it will be possible to use long-range weapons throughout the territory of Russia, which is very important."
