Clashes erupt in Tbilisi over election results

Clashes have occurred between protesters and police in Tbilisi over the results of parliamentary elections.

Axar.az informs that Sputnik Georgia reported the incident.

Police used tear gas against the protesters, and several individuals have been detained.

Currently, police have full control over Melikishvili Avenue, where the protest was held, and have dispersed the demonstrators.

The opposition has vowed to continue its struggle and not stop the protests.
