Axar.az reports that the President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili said these words in his urgent address to the people.

The President of Georgia called to "get up from the couch and not give up":

"I appeal to those sitting in front of the TV, to those who don't watch it: don't lose hope, don't let anyone dare to kill today's protest. Intolerance, disobedience and resistance - as you have been faithful to the end, I will be faithful to it to the end."

Zurabishvili also appealed to the police, army, ambassadors of EU countries and diplomatic corps of Georgia.

It should be noted that today the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, announced that his country has suspended EU membership negotiations until 2028 and has refused European grants.

Following this news, Zurabishvili held an urgent meeting with EU diplomatic missions in Georgia. The opposition started an action in front of the head office of Georgian Dream and the parliament building.
