Syrian army launches counteroffensive in Aleppo and Idlib

The Syrian army is carrying out a counteroffensive against the "Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham" group in Aleppo and Idlib.

Axar.az informs that the "Al-Mayadeen" TV channel reported this.

"The Syrian army has begun to repel the intense attacks of armed groups in the cities of Aleppo and Idlib. The army has started a counteroffensive targeting positions captured by militants in the southeast of Idlib," the report stated.

According to the channel's report, the Syrian army has managed to retake the city of Al-Bakum.
