Georgia's Parliament declares red alert level

From November 29, the highest "red" level of security will come into force in the Parliament of Georgia.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in the press service of the parliament.

The "red" level of security involves the prohibition of entry to the parliament building to anyone except those authorized by the head of the parliamentary staff and the deputies themselves.

Next week, the Parliament of Georgia will start considering changes to the country's 2024 state budget and approval of the 2025 state budget."

It should be noted that yesterday the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, said that his country has suspended EU membership negotiations until 2028 and has refused grants. After that, the opposition started large actions in Tbilisi. President Zurabishvili also participated in the action and claimed that a constitutional coup had taken place in the country.
