Armenia has decided to temporarily halt the activities of its humanitarian mine-clearing experts in Aleppo and to evacuate them urgently.

Axar.az reports that this information was released by the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Defense.

"Recently, the situation in several regions of Syria has deteriorated, and active combat operations have begun. As a result, the normal operations of the Armenian humanitarian mine-clearing specialists and medical personnel, who have been working in the Aleppo region since 2019, have become impossible," the ministry's statement said.

It is noted that the "Ha'yat Tahrir al-Sham" group captured the city of Aleppo yesterday.
