Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian held a phone conversation with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani.

Axar.az reports that citing the Mehr agency, Pezeshkian expressed Iran's readiness to cooperate in the fight against terrorist attacks in Syria.

He emphasized that the preservation of the territorial integrity of countries like Syria is a key part of Iran's regional strategy.

"After the ceasefire in Lebanon, the region is moving towards relative peace, and attention is now shifting to Gaza. The recent events in Syria have increased concerns about regional security," he added.
