Hazardous asteroids to pass close to earth this weekend

Two enormous "potentially hazardous asteroids" are due to soar through Earth's neighborhood later this week.

Axar.az informs that NASA has reported this information.

The asteroids, named 447755 (2007 JX2) and (2020 XR), are each estimated at being around the size of the Empire State Building.

According to calculations by scientists, the size of these asteroids is comparable to the height of the Empire State Building in New York (381 meters).

Asteroid 2007 JX2 will pass 5.5 million kilometers from Earth, while asteroid 2020 XR will pass 2 million kilometers away.
