Russian forces strengthen presence in Kinburn Spit

Russian troops are strengthening their presence in the Dnipro Bay and on the Kinburn Spit, the only remaining occupied area in Mykolaiv Oblast.

Axar.az reports that this information was provided by Vladislav Volozhin, spokesperson for the Ukrainian Southern Defense Forces.

"Russian forces have concentrated artillery and air defense units on the Kinburn Spit and have also moved a division of river boats from occupied Sevastopol," Volozhin stated.

"This is a strategically significant bridgehead. Additionally, from Kinburn, it is possible to shell the southern parts of the Kherson and Mykolaiv regions," he added.
