Economists in Russia are concerned about the sharp increase in the risk of economic stagnation and high inflation in 2025.

Axar.az informs that this information was reported by RBC.

It was noted that both high inflation and the possibility of high interest rates are creating the reality of Russia experiencing a "Turkiye scenario."

Analysts state that the Russian Central Bank (CBR) is implementing a tight monetary policy to prevent such a scenario.

Economists believe that while stagflation may not be the main scenario for 2025, the risks have increased in recent months.

The tight monetary policy implemented by the Russian Central Bank is seen as an attempt to avoid the "Turkiye scenario." However, the long-term impact of this policy on economic growth, especially in the context of continued international sanctions, remains uncertain.
