A telephone conversation took place between the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metzola, and the President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili.

Axar.az reports that Roberta Metzola herself informed about this.

"We see the waving flags of the European Union (flags raised in the action - ed.), we hear you. The European Parliament is committed to supporting Georgia's European future," Metzola said.

It should be noted that after Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced that negotiations on EU membership were suspended until 2028, the capital of Georgia was covered in protests.
