Syria faces large migration wave amid military shifts

Opposition groups in Syria continue to rapidly advance against Assad's regime.

Axar.az reports that citing Turkish media, after the recapture of Aleppo from Assad's forces and Tel Rifat from the PKK/YPG, a large-scale displacement has occurred in the region.

In the past five days, at least 200,000 people have been displaced internally within the country.

The majority of Syrians are returning to Aleppo, Tel Rifat, and Afrin.
