Turkiye's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with Hamas Shura Council Chairman Mohammad Ismail Derwish in Doha, Qatar.

Axar.az informs that Al Jazeera reported the meeting.

The two sides discussed the war in Gaza, regional and international developments, and their implications.

Turkiye's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan reaffirmed his country's stance on the Palestinian issue and emphasized Turkiye’s efforts to mobilize the international community to address the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza and achieve a ceasefire.

It should be noted that Hakan Fidan is also set to hold critical meetings in Doha today with his Iranian and Russian counterparts. The discussions will focus on the recent escalation in Syria and the fate of Bashar al-Assad.
