The Biden administration is considering the possibility of removing the "Ha'yat Tahrir al-Sham" group from the list of foreign terrorist organizations.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the "NBC News" channel, citing senior American officials.

"The aim of the discussions is to create a path for the global community to engage with the new government. The removal of HTS from the terrorist list may happen soon," the report stated.

It was also noted that with the removal of HTS from the terrorist list, the $10 million reward placed on the head of the group's leader, Abu Mohammed al-Jolani, will also be canceled.
