The foreign ministers of the 27 countries of the European Union will discuss the situation after the end of Bashar al-Assad's rule in Syria and the importance of the presence of the EU at the meeting to be held on December 16.

Axar.az reports that a high-ranking official of the EU told journalists in Brussels.

"The situation is still very uncertain, it is impossible to say how it will develop. But it is important for the EU to be there," he said.
