Blinken and Lammy discuss Syria and Ukraine

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and the United Kingdom's Foreign Secretary David Lammy had a phone conversation.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in a press release by U.S. State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller.

The two discussed the situation in Syria and the principles endorsed by the United States and countries in the region that should be upheld during the transition process and formation of a new government.

They also discussed on Ukraine, the need to surge security assistance, especially given Russia’s escalatory decision to turn to the DPRK to supply soldiers to continue its brutal war of aggression.
