Zelensky says Ukraine cannot trust Putin or his successor

One cannot trust Putin, which is why Ukraine must emerge stronger from the war.

Axar.az reports that this statement was made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

"Can you trust Putin? No! They fight against us, they kill us. Can you trust Putin’s successor? I’m sure the answer is no. But there is no escape. We live, and we have a long border with Russia. That’s why Ukraine must come out of this war much stronger. Being strong means being independent. Whether it is Putin, Putin’s Russia, or a post-Putin Russia, they all want to invade Ukraine again. Ukraine's strong position is the way out of this war. This is a clear understanding—NATO and the EU," Zelensky said.
