Gerasimov: Ukraine suffers nearly 1 million casualties

Since the start of the war, the Ukrainian army has had nearly 1 million casualties, including both dead and wounded. Additionally, Ukraine has lost almost 20,000 tanks and armored vehicles.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Valery Gerasimov.

Gerasimov also stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had lost over 42,000 people, more than 1,800 tanks, and armored vehicles in the Kursk border region.

He mentioned that the advance of the Ukrainian army in the Kursk region had been halted and that attempts by Ukrainian Armed Forces groups and mercenaries to move into Russian territory had been thwarted.
