Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is expected to visit Damascus within 15 days.

Axar.az informs this was reported by Turkish media, citing sources in Damascus.

It was stated that during the visit, Erdogan is expected to meet with Abu Mohammed al-Jolani, the leader of the "Ha'yat Tahrir al-Sham" (HTS) group, as well as Syrian Turkmen representatives.

Additionally, a comprehensive security shield, both aerial and ground-based, will reportedly be established along the Hama, Homs, and Idlib line under Erdogan's directive. Turkish radars will be activated to monitor all air traffic in the region.
