The Danish government has announced a new military aid package worth $292 million for Ukraine.

Axar.az reports this information citing BBC.

It was noted that the funds will primarily be used for the supply of air defense systems by other countries to Ukraine and for the maintenance of F-16 fighter jets.

"One of Ukraine's most urgent needs is defense against Russian missiles and drones. That’s why we prioritized additional support in the field of air defense," stated the Danish Ministry of Defense.

In addition to air defense systems and F-16 maintenance, the funds from the new package will also be allocated for the joint supply of CV90 infantry fighting vehicles with Sweden, though their exact number was not disclosed in media reports.

With this, Denmark’s total assistance to Ukraine since the start of the war has reached $7.3 billion.
