Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov awarded his nephew, the Secretary of the Security Council, Hamzat Kadyrov, the "For Services to the Chechen Republic" medal on December 26.

Axar.az reports that Hamzat Kadyrov had revealed on December 25 that Ukrainian drones had been shot down in the Chechen skies.

His award is related to the downing of the Ukrainian drones.

The AZAL aircraft was also hit by Chechen air defense systems. Facts confirming this have already been verified by sources in the government, and Azerbaijan is waiting for Russia to apologize and for the criminals to be held accountable.

It is noteworthy that on December 25, the AZAL flight from Baku to Grozny was struck by Russian air defense systems over the skies of Grozny, resulting in significant damage. The aircraft, not granted permission to land, diverted towards Aktau and crashed near Aktau airport. As a result of the crash, 38 out of the 67 people on board were killed, and 29 survived.
