All flights canceled at Muan airport in S.Korea

All domestic and international flights have been canceled at Muan International Airport in South Korea due to the crash of a Jeju Air plane.

Axar.az informs that this information was reported by the "Chungang Ilbo" publication.

According to the Korea Airports Corporation, the registration for the "Jeju Air 7C341" flight, which was supposed to fly to Jeju at 10:00 a.m., has been halted. Additionally, the "Jin Air LJ467" flight to Jeju at 13:35, the "Cambodia Airways KR542" flight to Siem Reap at 16:50, and the "Jeju Air 7C2215" flight to Bangkok and the "Jin Air LJ747" flight to Taipei have also been canceled.

“All flights scheduled to arrive at Muan International Airport that day have been canceled,” the publication stated.

It is worth noting that the "Jeju Air" Boeing 737-800 plane operating the Bangkok-Muan route veered off the runway after landing at Muan Airport and crashed into a fence, causing a fire. The plane had 181 people on board.
