US ready to provide any assistance to S.Korea

The US administration will provide all necessary assistance to the Republic of Korea regarding the crash of a "Jeju Air" aircraft at Muan Airport.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by US President Joe Biden.

"As close allies, the American people share deep bonds of friendship with the South Korean people and our thoughts and prayers are with those impacted by this tragedy. The United States stands ready to provide any necessary assistance," the president said.

It should be noted that in South Korea, a passenger plane collided with an obstacle on the runway during landing. As a result, 179 out of 181 people on board lost their lives. The bodies of all the deceased have been found. A one-week national mourning has been declared in the country due to the incident.
