Ukrainian UAV strikes fuel base in Smolensk

A Ukrainian UAV has struck Russia's fuel base in Smolensk.

Axar.az reports that several explosions were heard in the area where the fuel base is located.

Following the explosions, a fire broke out in the area.

The governor of the region, Vasily Anokhin, confirmed that the fuel base was attacked, stating: "The fire was caused by the remains of the UAV that struck the base."

It is worth noting that Smolensk Oblast is located far from the Russian-Ukrainian border.
