Turkish Citizen appointed brigade general in Syrian army

As we reported earlier, foreign fighters have been enlisted in Syria's Armed Forces.

Axar.az, citing Turkish media, reports that under the decree of Syria's new leader, Ahmad al-Sharaa, Turkish citizen Ömer Mohammad Çiftçi (Omar Muhammad Chiftchi), also known as Muhtar Turki, has been appointed as a brigade general in the Syrian army.

It is noteworthy that Ömer Mohammad Çiftçi has been with Ahmad al-Shara since the time of the "Nusra Front."
