It was expected that gas transportation from the territory of Ukraine would be stopped from January 1. The EU is ready for this.

Axar.az reports that the representative of the EU said this in his statement.

"Europe's gas infrastructure is flexible enough to deliver gas of non-Russian origin to Central and Eastern European countries through alternative routes," the representative said.

It should be noted that since January 1, the transportation of Russian gas to Europe through Ukraine has been completely stopped.
