Syria's interim government pursues Assad supporters

Syria's interim government security forces are reportedly pursuing supporters of Bashar al-Assad in the city of Homs.

Axar.az reports that citing the SANA news agency, the authorities have demanded that former regime supporters surrender their weapons and undergo security inspections by law enforcement.

The Ministry of Interior has specifically urged residents of the Wadi al-Dahab and Akrima districts to remain indoors and avoid venturing onto the streets. It also called for cooperation with security forces until the area is fully cleared.
