Farmers protest in Warsaw against EU policies

Polish farmers, as well as their colleagues from Germany and Slovakia, started a protest in Warsaw.

Axar.az reports that the protesters gathered in front of the EU office in the center of the city. They held Polish flags and placards with the slogans "No to the Green Deal", "Green Deal is equal to eco-terrorism", and "Stay away from the Green Deal".

In addition to criticizing the EU's environmental strategy, the protesters oppose the EU's trade agreement with the countries of the South American Common Market (Mercosur) and the uncontrolled import of products from Ukraine. Protesters plan to march through the streets of the city center.
