As we reported earlier, members of Turkiye's DEM Party have met with PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan at the İmralı prison.

Axar.az, citing Turkish media, reports that the delegation first met with Numan Kurtulmuş at the Turkish Grand National Assembly and later with MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli.

One of the current public concerns is when Öcalan will call for the disarmament of the PKK.

Ahmad Türk, one of the members of the delegation, has commented on this issue. He stated that after the second or third visit to İmralı, Öcalan may call on the PKK to disarm.
