House fire in Abkhazia claims lives of five children

A fire broke out in a house in the village of Papynirkha in the Gali district of Abkhazia.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the Abkhazian "Ministry of Emergency Situations."

"The fire occurred when an elderly woman, attempting to light the stove in the morning, mistakenly used gasoline instead of diesel fuel, causing ignition. The house was made of wood and quickly caught fire. At that time, five children were sleeping in the house, and they could not be saved," the statement said.
