A barge carrying Marine Le Pen, leader of France's far-right National Rally Party, collided with another barge off the coast of the Mayotte.

Axar.az reports that citing BFMTV, the incident occurred on January 7 when Le Pen's barge collided with an oncoming vessel near Mayotte.

The collision caused most passengers to fall into the water. Three individuals sustained minor injuries. Le Pen was unharmed and was safely brought to shore aboard a police boat.
