Ukrainian forces advance in Kursk region

The Ukrainian army has advanced in the Kursk region, indicating a coordinated operation in this direction or other parts of the front.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in a report by the U.S. Institute for the Study of War.

The institute's report is based on geolocated footage displayed on January 5–6, showing the Ukrainian army advancing northeast of Suda—south of Berdino, in the center of Russkiy Poperechny and Novosotnitsky.

According to the institute, the Russian army has deployed the 177th Marine Regiment from western Zaporizhzhia to Kursk. Additionally, the "Caspian Marines" UAV unit is active in Kursk.
