Chad Minister: French leaders must respect Africa

French leaders must learn to respect Africans.

Axar.az reports that Chad's Foreign Minister Abderaman Kulamalla said this while commenting on French President Emmanuel Macron's statement that African countries do not thank African countries for the help in the fight against terrorism in the Sahel.

According to Kulamalla, such statements reflect the contemptuous attitude of the French leader towards Africa and Africans.

"French leaders should learn to respect the African people," said the head of the Foreign Ministry.

He added that France did not create the Chadian army and has never contributed to its structural development, on the contrary, the Chadian people aspire to full sovereignty and true independence.
