Russian plane returns to airport due to technical issues

A plane flying on the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk-Yuzhno-Kurilsk route in Russia returned to the airport due to technical reasons.

Axar.az, citing TASS, reports that this information was provided by the Far Eastern Transport Prosecutor's Office.

"The DHC-8 passenger plane operating the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk-Yuzhno-Kurilsk route returned to the airport due to technical reasons at Chekhov Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk International Airport. The landing was successful. The plane had 68 passengers on board," the prosecutor's office stated.
